Allrounders are a big commodity in international cricket, adding a balance to the team that all sides strive for. Fast bowling allrounders become all the more important, with few existing on the current international scene. With the rise in the betting opportunities and online betting offers, it is imperative for you to be acquainted with the best of the lot. With this in mind we have put together our list of the top five fast-bowling allrounders currently in the game.

Chris Woakes

At 29, Woakes has a good amount of cricket under his belt – well over 100 first-class matches for Warwickshire. He represents England at international level and excels in all three formats. Regularly touching 85mph, he particularly thrives in the seam-friendly conditions on offer in England.

On the batting front, he has over 5,000 first-class runs with decent batting average of 34.91 runs.

Jason Holder

Jason Holder is the current captain of the West Indies team, and gained that position at a very young age. At 6’7’’, he is one of the tallest cricketers in the game. Due to his height he, manages to intimidate the batsmen with the bounce he gets, despite a relative lack of pace. Ever since his debut game back in 2013 he has been a mainstay of the Windies national side, guiding them to the World T20 title in 2016.

Kevin O’Brien

Having been on the international scene for more than 12 years now, O’Brien is one of the longest-playing cricketers currently active in the game. He also has the accolade of scoring a Test century in Ireland’s inaugural men’s Test match.

His bowling is as strong as his batting, though he could probably be considered more of a seam bowler than a fast bowler. Regardless, considering his record on paper, he is one of the more prominent all-rounders in the international game.

Hardik Pandya

The Indian allrounder recently commented, “I want to be like Jacques Kallis”, and it seems like he is putting in all the hard work required. In the latest T20I series between India and England, he dragged his figures back after an expensive first over, to show what a competitor he is. A star name in the IPL, Pandya is one of the most marketable players in Indian cricket.

Ben Stokes

Stokes, the former vice-captain of the England’s Test team, has consistently performed well on the field. His blistering 258 against South Africa gaining him notoriety for his brilliant mix of power and timing.

In the 2017 IPL he was named the Player of the Series, and showed excellent skills with both bat and ball. He has taken 98 wickets in 42 Tesys and 58 wickets in the 67 ODIs that he has played thus far.
