Middlesex batsman will be joined by England captain Eoin Morgan at the Kerala Kings
A second Middlesex player has signed up for the T10 Cricket League... and he can't wait to get started.
Batsman Paul Stirling has committed himself to the Kerala Kings for the inaugural tournament, which is due to take place in the UAE next month.
Stirling, who has scored 3,419 T20 runs over the course of his career, will be skippered by England captain and county team-mate Eoin Morgan.
“I’m really looking forward to getting out there for what is a brand new concept,” he told the Belfast Newsletter.
“Ten overs a side certainly increases the pressure on every ball delivered or faced. “There are a number of big name players in the competition so from a learning perspective it will be exciting to train and play with them."
Kerala Kings also feature Kieron Pollard, Samuel Badree, Shakib Al-Hasan and Wahab Riaz.
The Sharjah Cricket Ground will host the event, which is due to last four days between December 14 and December 17.
Six teams - Team Sri Lanka Cricket, Punjabi Legends, Kerala, Bengal Tigers, Pakhtoon and Maratha Arabians - make up the competition.
