England beat Australia in Canberra... and Danielle Wyatt wrote her name in history
Danielle Wyatt recorded the third fastest hundred in women's international T20 history, and England's first ever, during a thrilling clash in Canberra.
England, whose Ashes challenge had been formally ended after they lost the first of three short-format encounters against Australia last week, impressively chased down their hosts' 178 for two with an over to spare at the Manuka Oval. And Wyatt was the star.
The 26-year-old smashed 100 from 57 balls, hitting 13 boundaries and two maximums, as England bounced back from losing three early wickets to reach their target with four to spare.
She becomes just the fifth woman to have reached three figures in a 20-over international. Before the game started, there had only been three.
In Australia's innings, Beth Mooney picked off the England attack for 117 not out from 70 balls, making her hundred from just 65.

Danielle Wyatt enjoyed a superb game for England in Canberra
In most matches, that would have been the standout innings. But Wyatt had other ideas.
The Vipers batter now sits behind only Deandra Dottin and Meg Lanning on the list of the fastest IT20 tons.
Dottin - the only woman to have hit a century at international level in the shortest form of the game on more than one occasion - belted a 38-ball century for West Indies against South Africa in St Kitts seven years ago.
Lanning, meanwhile, took three balls fewer than Wyatt to pass three figures against Ireland in the World T20 in Bangladesh in 2014.
The previous best individual score for England in a 20-over innings was the 92 not out made by Charlotte Edwards against Australia in Hobart the same year.
