The oddity took place during a World T20 qualifying match in Bangkok
For Malaysia’s women, it was a wholly forgettable experience; for cricket statisticians it will live long in the history books.
In a World T20 qualifier against Thailand in Bangkok on Thursday, Malaysia achieved a rare feat in the shortest format by going through an entire innings without finding the boundary.
Going into the clash with a record of one victory and one defeat from two matches in their Asia Region qualifying campaign, the Malaysians were asked to bat after losing the toss.
And it all went downhill from there.

Only one batter - number 10 Nadhirah Nasruddin - reached double figures and four were dismissed without scoring as the visitors plodded to 33 for nine from their 20 overs.
They were not helped by the fact that four members of their side were run out for single-digit returns.
In reply, Thailand knocked off the required runs with a massive 88 balls to spare, for the loss of just one wicket.
It was their second win in three matches in the competition to date.
