Dwaine Pretorius, D'Arcy Short, Evin Lewis, Tim Seifert and Sheldon Cottrell were among the other overseas selections
T20 stalwarts Carlos Brathwaite, Imad Wasim and Dwaine Pretorius were among the highest-priced international acquisitions during the Lanka Premier League draft, which took place on July 5.
Former West Indies T20I captain Brathwaite, who has amassed 2,240 runs and 214 wickets in more than 200 T20 career appearances, joins the newly named Kandy Warriors.
Fellow veteran allrounder Wasim heads to Galle Gladiators while South African bowling allrounder Pretorius has been picked up by Colombo Stars. He is in line for his debut in the competition.
The other notable international draftees in the $60,000 (£50,000) category were Australian batter D’Arcy Short, who heads to Dambulla Giants, and West Indian opener Evin Lewis, picked up by two-time winners Jaffna Kings.

Angelo Mathews (Colombo Stars), Dasun Shanaka (Dambulla Giants) and Thisara Perera (Jaffna Kings) complete the Sri Lankan Ruby category.
The 2022 Lanka Premier League gets underway on July 31, with the final to be played on August 21.
