Rashid Khan has become the fastest man to reach 100 one-day international wickets.

The Afghanistan leg-spinner hit three figures during his side's World Cup Qualifier final against West Indies in Harare on Sunday.

By trapping Windies No. 3 Shai Hope lbw in the 23rd over, the 19-year-old reached his century in considerably quicker time than any other man in ODI history.

Khan has collected his 100 wickets in the format in just 44 matches, eight fewer than his nearest rival - Mitchell Starc of Australia.

He averages just over 14 runs per wicket, with an economy rate of less than four runs per over, across his remarkable career to date.

The world No. 1-ranked bowler has best figures of 7-18, taken against West Indies.

He has claimed 40 Zimbabwean wickets, 33 from Ireland and 12 against the Windies.
