Jonny Bairstow smashed the T10 League's highest-ever score in Kerala Knights' comfortable victory over Bengal Tigers on Friday.
Bairstow clubbed 84 runs from 24 deliveries to help his side ease past their target of 124 with eight balls to spare in Sharjah.
The England batsman, who has made a pitstop in the short-form competition on his way back home from Sri Lanka, crashed eight sixes and six fours in Kerala's seven-wicket victory.
He shared in a fourth-wicket partnership worth 70 in a frankly ridiculous 4.3 overs with Fabian Allen, who contributed a positively pedestrian 11 from 11 deliveries.
Bairstow takes the T10 record off Afghanistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Shahzad.
Shahzad only took the crowd last week when he posted 74 in only 16 balls for Rajputs against Sindhis.
He and batting partner Brendon McCullum chased down their target of 95 in 24 balls that day, with the innings lasting only 17 minutes.
