AUSTRALIA NAME UNCHANGED SIDE FOR SECOND TEST

The clash at the Adelaide Oval gets under way on Saturday

Australia have named an unchanged side for the second Ashes Test.

The hosts arrive in Adelaide having dispatched of England by 10 wickets in the first meeting of the sides in Brisbane, and with few selection issues.

With no batting alternative in the 13-man squad, Usman Khawaja keeps his place at number three, while Shaun Marsh stays at six and Tim Paine retains the wicketkeeping gloves.

Jackson Bird and Chadd Sayers miss out, with Australia keeping the pace attack of Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc.

Starc particularly has fond memories of the Adelaide Oval, having taken a career-best 8-73 on his last visit to the ground - for New South Wales against South Australia.

The second Test us due to get under way on Saturday at 2pm local time (3.30am GMT).

It is the first Ashes encounter to be played under floodlights and with a pink Kookaburra ball.
