The Abu Dhabi T20 line-up has been completed by Auckland Aces

Auckland Aces have become the sixth and final side to commit to the Abu Dhabi T20.

The New Zealand outfit join the likes of Yorkshire Vikings and Hobart Hurricanes in booking their place at the tournament, which is due to take place at the Zayed Cricket Stadium from October 4 until October 6.

Auckland boast the powerful Kiwi opening partnership of Colin Munro and Martin Guptill at the top of the order. They finished second in the league stage of New Zealand's Super Smash last season before being beaten in the preliminary final.

ABU DHABI T20: Six teams ready to do battle in exciting new tournament

"Confirmation of the Aces is fantastic news. It’s another sporting coup for Abu Dhabi and strengthens the UAE capital’s credentials on the global cricketing stage," acting chief executive of Abu Dhabi Cricket, Matt Boucher, said.

"The enthusiasm for the trophy from some of the world’s strongest teams is a huge proof point for our ambitions to make Abu Dhabi a name to be reckoned with in the sport, backed up by world class facilities, strong development and committed community support."

Lahore Qalandars, Boost Defenders from Afghanistan and South African franchise Multiply Titans make up the line-up for the event.
