A revised fixture list was announced on August 26 following the decision to move the tournament from Bangladesh to the United Arab Emirates.

Group A: Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka

Group B: Bangladesh, England, Scotland, South Africa, West Indies

Thursday, October 3: Bangladesh v Scotland (Sharjah, 2pm), Pakistan v Sri Lanka (Dubai, 6pm)

Friday, October 4: South Africa v West Indies (Dubai, 2pm), India v New Zealand (Dubai, 6pm)

Saturday, October 5: Bangladesh v England (Sharjah, 2pm), Australia v Sri Lanka (Sharjah, 6pm)

Sunday, October 6: India v Pakistan (Dubai, 2pm), West Indies v Scotland (Dubai, 6pm)

Monday, October 7: England v South Africa (Sharjah, 6pm)

Tuesday, October 8: Australia v New Zealand (Sharjah, 6pm)

Great for Scotland. How do they decide which group Scotland joins and which group is Sri Lanka’s? Article says that it depends on Tuesday’s result. If so, how?
