The ECB has very little interest in county supporters. Speaking for myself, I would happily pay an annual subscription for BBC county cricket audio commentaries.

Ah, yes Lloyd Birch, how on earth are the Young people going to get interested in cricket if the wireless coverage is taken away. That will be last straw for all those young people who listen to local counties radio so much. give me strength. The Hundred is attracting young people to the sport.

Yet more cutbacks to cricket coverage by the BBC. How are you supposed to get young people interested in playing? Struggling without a satellite dish.
