It's a numbers game! Here The Cricketer takes a look back at some of the stats to come out of the world of cricket this week...
Chris Woakes is the only man to have taken three five-wicket hauls for England in one-day internationals. The Warwickshire man - who picked up five for 54 against Pakistan at Bristol - has previously taken six-fors against Australia at Brisbane in 2011 and Sri Lanka at Pallekele in 2014.
With a century against Notts at Newport, Hampshire’s Ajinkya Rahane became the third Indian to score a hundred on his County Championship debut. The 30-year-old joined Murali Vijay (Essex, 2018) and Piyush Chawla (Sussex, 2008) in completing the feat.
Alongside Rahane, Sam Northeast registered a century in the same innings. The former Kent batsman hit 133 from 186 balls in the 244-run victory.
Northeast has scored 511 runs at an average of 85.16 in four Championship matches. Nobody has scored more Division One runs this summer.
CENTURY: A phenomenal knock from @ajinkyarahane88! 💯👏

Alex Hales may have missed out on England’s World Cup plans but the explosive batsman is still in high demand. The Nottinghamshire batsman was selected first overall, by Barbados Tridents, in this year’s Caribbean Premier League draft.
When it came to England’s World Cup squad, there had to be one to miss the cut and that one was David Willey.
The Yorkshire allrounder has featured in 46 of England's 88 ODIs since the last World Cup but will have to wait for his 47th appearance in the format.
Liam Dawson has had a good week. The Hampshire allrounder has been drafted into England’s World Cup squad, having not been included in the preliminary 15.
In this year’s One-Day Cup, Dawson has taken 18 wickets at 20.33 in nine matches and notched 274 runs at 45.66 in seven innings as Hampshire progressed to the Lord’s final.
His economy rate of 4.11 in the competition (before the final) is the best of anyone who has bowled in four or more matches.

The ECB have announced dates for England’s tour of South Africa. The sides will face each other in four Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is. The Test series comes first with the opening match of the series starting on December 26 at Centurion.
Nottinghamshire have announced that India's Ravichandran Ashwin will join the club for the second half of the season. The spinner comes with plenty of pedigree, having taken 342 Test wickets for his country.
So England have a new kit and it is, of course, a throwback to the 1992 uniform. A crowd pleaser? We think so…
