The Cricketer's People of 2021: Our writers select those who have made a difference

GEORGE DOBELL, HUW TURBERVILL, JAMES COYNE, NICK HOWSON, NICK FRIEND and ELIZABETH BOTCHERBY pick individuals within the game who have made significant contributions to cricket in 2021

At the end of a trying year for English cricket, we asked our writers to select their People of 2021.

The choices did not have to be inspired by onfield performances, although that was just as relevant, nor did they have to be at the heart of the sport throughout the 12 months.

Our six reporters were told to indentify those who, in their opinion, had made a significant impact on the wider world of cricket this year.
