England host New Zealand in a four-match ODI series.
September 8: 1st ODI – Sophia Gardens, Cardiff (12.30pm BST)
September 10: 2nd ODI – The Ageas Bowl, Southampton (11am BST)
September 13: 3rd ODI – The Kia Oval, London (12.30pm BST)
September 15: 4th ODI – Lords Cricket Ground, London (12.30pm BST)
England and New Zealand shared the spoils in the four-match T20I series which concluded on September 5, with the hosts winning the first two matches and New Zealand the latter two.
England, the reigning world champions in the format, haven't played an ODI since March, when they lost to Bangladesh by 50 runs (although they won the series 2-1).
Since Matthew Mott was appointed head coach in May 2022, England have won eight and lost nine of their 18 ODIs, with three of defeats coming in six matches on home soil last summer.
New Zealand, meanwhile, suffered a 4-1 series defeat against Pakistan in the spring and have only won three of their 11 ODIs in 2023 heading into this series.
The Black Caps currently lead the head-to-head record between the two sides, winning 43 of their 91 meetings (England have won 41), but have lost the past encounters. New Zealand and England haven't met since the 2019 World Cup final, which England won on boundary count back.

The series marks the return of Ben Stokes following the England men's Test captain's decision to come out of retirement to feature in the World Cup.
White-ball captain Jos Buttler will be eager to further test the international credentials of Surrey fast bowler Gus Atkinson, the extreme pace option alongside Mark Wood, with Jofra Archer and Olly Stone absent.
Brydon Carse and Harry Brook both received late callups to the squad.
Tom Latham remains as New Zealand's stand-in captain due to the injury to Kane Williamson. He has an experienced team to call on, bolstered by Trent Boult's return after he reached a playing agreement with NZC.
