England took a 1-0 series lead at Headingley after an incredible run chase to get the series off to a flyer – but what does history tell us about where the second Test might go?

If you fancy a flutter during the series, then look no further as we've teamed up with Betfair to give you all the stats you need to know for each day of this epic five-Test series.

The ground first hosted a Test between England and India in 1967 and a victory for this India side would be unprecedented in Birmingham, with England winning seven of the eight games played there between the two. The other was a draw.

Since 2005, home wins have accounted for almost two-thirds of the results in the 16 Tests played there, with four losses and two draws, making Edgbaston quite the fortress for England in recent times.

In that time, the team winning the toss has opted to bat on 11 occasions, although this is no indicator of victory as only three sides who made this decision went on to win the game.

On the other occasions, the team winning the toss and fielding came out victors only twice, meaning the correct call is not always a blessing here.

If you're looking at when today's first wicket might fall, this has occurred on average after 33.53 runs have been scored or when 10.3 overs have been bowled.
