With India on the cusp of a vital wicketless opening session of day three, Rishabh Pant took on Ben Stokes' arm to get KL Rahul, who was unbeaten on 98, back on strike.

It proved to be ill-advised as the England captain threw down the stumps with India's wicketkeeper short of his ground.
