Betfair Moment of the Day: The captains go head to head

GEORGE DOBELL explains why his Betfair Moment of the Day was when Shubman Gill came through Ben Stokes' fiery spell to reach his fourth century of the series

Shubman Gill survived a brilliant eight-over spell from Ben Stokes early on the final day to reach his ninth Test century, a knock which proved to be match-saving.

He was tested most significantly by his opposite number, who dismissed KL Rahul in the same spell for 90, as he was struck on the helmet before staying in line to survive a ball that stayed low.

George Dobell explains why this demonstration of character from India's captain was his Betfair Moment of the Day.
