The allrounder suffered a recurrence of a longstanding back problem during her side's warm-up game against India this week and will not be able to take part in the tournament, which begins on Friday.

Fran Wilson has been called up in Brunt's place.

Wilson is flying out to St Lucia to join up with her team-mates but will not be available for selection for England's opening game against Sri Lanka on Saturday.
