Mark Alleyne and Neil Killeen will assist England on their white-ball tour of the Netherlands.

England are due to leave on Tuesday for the three-match ODI series, which represents Matthew Mott's first assignment since his appointment as the white-ball head coach.

The news comes a week after Alleyne was named as an assistant coach with Welsh Fire for The Hundred; the former Gloucestershire captain – one of English cricket's most successful limited-over cricketers – will serve as a batting coach.

Killeen, bowling coach at Durham and a key figure in the production of several England seamers, will fulfil the same role under Mott on the trip. England's squad includes Durham's Brydon Carse, as well as five left-arm seamers.

Killeen has previously been seconded by England, working with the ODI squad ahead of the series against Ireland in 2020. Alleyne, meanwhile, was part of the backroom staff for Eoin Morgan's T20I squad in the Caribbean earlier this year.

Speaking to The Cricketer since then, Alleyne – who also juggles work as a Test scout for the ECB – explained that temporary roles like these were ideal as he looks to balance a return to elite-level coaching with his work at Marlborough College. He was overlooked over the winter for the role of performance director at Gloucestershire.

Richard Dawson and Carl Hopkinson are also part of Mott's coaching staff for the series, which begins on Friday.
