India v England, fourth Test: All you need to know
England quick Jofra Archer has been forced to miss the fourth Test against India due to an ongoing right elbow injury.
The 25-year-old also missed the second Test in Chennai with the same issue.
As a result, James Anderson was selected as the sole seamer alongside spinners Jack Leach and Dom Bess.
An update regarding his fitness will be provided by the ECB medical team in due course.
Archer has been selected in the squad for the five-match T20 series which begins on March 12. Following the subsequent three one-day internationals he is due to play for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.
A sickness bug swept through the camp in the lead-up to the match and England have confirmed that Ben Stokes continues to be hindered.
Fresh from scoring a half-century in England's first innings, he did not bowl on the first evening of the match but did take to the field during the India reply.
