Joe Denly has left the England Test squad's bubble in Manchester to join the white-ball set-up in Southampton.

Denly lost his place in the Test side ahead of the second match against West Indies last week, and was once again overlooked for selection for the final game of the series, which began on Thursday.

The Kent batsman will now make the trip south to the Ageas Bowl, where the one-day players are taking part in an intra-squad warm-up match on Thursday. He is due to enter the bio-secure bubble on the south coast on July 27.

England's three-ODI series against Ireland is due to begin on July 30.

Meanwhile, four other players have been released from the Test party to join up with their counties.

Ollie Stone featured for Warwickshire in their pre-season friendly against Nottinghamshire on Thursday, while Craig Overton, Dan Lawrence and Ollie Robinson will rejoin Somerset, Essex and Sussex respectively.
