England's players have been fined 20 per cent of their match fee after being adjudged to have maintained a slow over-rate during the fourth T20 international against India.
Captain Eoin Morgan pleaded guilty to the charge for an offence that occurred during the eight-run defeat in Ahmedabad on Thursday (March 18).
On-field umpires KN Ananthapadmanabhan, Nitin Menon, and third umpire Virendar Sharma levelled the charges against the tourists.
The 20 overs-a-side match, which included several delays to double-check catches with the TV official, took more than four hours to complete.
ICC rules state a match should comprise of two sessions of one hour and 25 minutes for each innings.
Taking into account other delays, the ICC fines a team 20 per cent of their fee for each over they bowl past the allotted time.
It is the second occasion in the series a team has been fined for a breach of over-rate rules, with India having been reprimanded after the second T20.
The fifth and final T20 - the series is locked at 2-2 - takes place on Saturday (March 20).
