Ollie Robinson has replaced Ben Stokes in the only change to England's 14-man squad for the second Test at The Ageas Bowl starting on Thursday (August 13).

The uncapped Sussex seamer comes in for the allrounder, who has been ruled out for the rest of the series so he can be with his family in New Zealand.

Essex's Dan Lawrence was also not considered for the match after leaving the training bubble due to a family bereavement.

Zak Crawley, Mark Wood, and Sam Curran are all bidding for recalls after missing out on the three-wicket win at Emirates Old Trafford

England lead the three-Test series 1-0 following victory last week and could wrap up the series in Southampton.

England squad: Root, Anderson, Archer, Bess, Broad, Burns, Buttler, Crawley, Curran, Pope, Robinson, Sibley, Woakes, Wood
