Sam Curran in Test action
Sam Curran's exceptional breakthrough summer in Test cricket has led to the award of a central contract from the ECB.
The Surrey allrounder burst onto the international scene in 2018, playing a starring role against India and ending up with England's man of the series award.
He has been named in the squad for the three-match trip to Sri Lanka in November and the good news continued on Friday when it was confirmed that he is one of 10 men to have been given red-ball deals.
Jos Buttler and Adil Rashid have been handed central contracts covering all forms of the game, while Tom Curran receives an incremental deal.
Opening batsman Keaton Jennings has not been given a red-ball deal, while 13 players are named on white-ball contracts including Jason Roy and David Willey.
The contracts cover a 12-month period beginning on October 1.
