WATCH: Kent captain had the speed of thought to throw the ball up in the air before crossing the rope to ensure he made a legal take during the game against a President's XI
Sensational catches in the deep are all the rage in T20 cricket right now, and Sam Billings is the latest player to get involved.
The Kent captain produced an excellent grab during England's T20 warm-up match against a President's XI at the Manuka Oval.
Fielding at long-on, Billings was picked out by James Faulkner but, running towards the rope, had the presence of mind to throw the ball up in the air before crossing the boundary.
He then leapt back "in bounds" to complete the catch, much to the delight of bowler Adil Rashid.

Faulkner's dismissal left the President's XI, which included the likes of Nathan Lyon, Peter Handscomb and Peter Nevill, 49 for three in the seventh over of the innings after they had been asked to bat by England captain Eoin Morgan.
England rested Alex Hales, Chris Jordan and Liam Plunkett for the game on Friday, which precedes the T20 Tri Series.
The trio have all been nursing minor injuries, while Jason Roy was ruled out with a sore back, paving the way for David Willey to open the batting alongside James Vince.
Sam and Tom Curran both started an England game for the first time.
