The Sussex seamer remains on course for the Ireland Test at Lord's after results showed no damage to a sore left ankle suffered during the County Championship draw with Glamorgan
England are breathing a sigh of relief after seamer Ollie Robinson was cleared to join up with the squad for the Ireland Test at Lord's this week.
Fears over the fitness of the Sussex seamer grew after he was beset with a left ankle problem during the County Championship draw with Glamorgan.
He was seen wearing a protective boot at the end of the match and underwent a scan to discover the full extent of the issue on Monday (May 22).
But the ECB have confirmed that following the results of the assessment there is "no damage" to the joint.

The 29-year-old will therefore join up with the remainder of the 15-strong squad ahead of the Test starting on June 1.
It is a major boost for captain Ben Stokes, whose seam attack has already suffered the loss of Jora Archer for the entire summer and Olly Stone for the first two Tests at least.
James Anderson picked up a mild groin issue during Lancashire's Championship match against Somerset but it is not considered serious.
Robinson has made an impressive start to the 2023 summer, taking 20 wickets in three Championship matches including career-best first-class match figures of 14 for 117 against Worcestershire.
