Tammy Beaumont and Alice Davidson-Richards headline ECB Select XI to face India

The two sides will meet at Chester-le-Street on September 6 for a warm-up T20 fixture ahead of India's white-ball series against England

An ECB Select XI has been named to face India Women in a warm-up match at Chester-le-Street on September 6.

India are scheduled to face England in three T20Is and three ODIs between September 10-24.

Tammy Beaumont (Lightning) and Alice Davidson-Richards (South East Stars) are the two high-profile players in the squad, which has been selected from the domestic circuit.

Beaumont is joined in the 12-strong squad by fellow Lightning batter Marie Kelly while Central Sparks (Hannah Baker and Grace Potts), Northern Diamonds (Bess Heath, Linsey Smith and Lizzie Scott), and South East Stars (Davidson-Richards, Ryana MacDonald-Gay and Alexa Stonehouse) also have multiple representatives.

Dani Gibson and Grace Scrivens have been selected from Western Storm and Sunrisers, respectively.

The two sides will contest a T20 fixture, which is scheduled to begin at 11am.
