England Women are hosting India Women in a T20I series.
The games will take place at three different venues, with the first taking place at Durham's Seat Unique Riverside – England's most northerly home venue since playing a single ODI at Headingley in 2018.
They then move on to Derby, before finishing at Bristol.
The T20I leg of the series – there are three ODIs afterwards – is all done inside six days, beginning in Durham on September 10 (7pm BST), before moving onto Derby on September 13 (6pm BST) and concluding at Bristol on September 15 (6.30pm BST).
England might reasonably be out for revenge, having been defeated by Harmanpreet Kaur's side in the Commonwealth Games semi-final between the same teams earlier this summer.
On Thursday, Alice Capsey spoke to play down the relevance of that result but admitted that she and her teammates would be motivated to put it right. India subsequently lost the gold-medal match against Australia, while England were well beaten by New Zealand in the battle for bronze.
Otherwise, what's on the line is continued preparation for the Women's T20 World Cup, which takes place in February 2023 in South Africa.

England are without key players in Heather Knight and Katherine Brunt, while Tammy Beaumont continues to be omitted from the home side's T20I plans.
Knight won't play again this summer as she recovers from a hip-joint problem, while Brunt has been left out of this squad to rest, with England keen to manage the workload of their veteran fast bowler. Beaumont was left out for the T20Is against South Africa and the subsequent Commonwealth Games, with Danni Wyatt and Sophia Dunkley the preferred opening partnership for a philosophy centred around going hard from the start.
Brunt has been replaced in the squad by Lauren Bell, included for the T20Is for the first time in her career but already a fully-fledged international after Test and ODI appearances against South Africa.
"After discussions with Katherine she felt the best thing for her was to rest across both the T20 and ODI series," said Lisa Keightley, coaching England for the last time before returning home to Australia. "We fully support that decision with a view to maximising her mental and physical recovery off the back of what has been an intense year so far."
Meanwhile, Nat Sciver is to take a break from cricket to focus on her mental health and wellbeing, ruling her out of the upcoming series against India.
Sciver had been due to captain England in the absence of Heather Knight, who is already missing with a hip-joint injury. Instead, Amy Jones will lead the side, with a replacement for Sciver to be called up ahead of the second T20I.
For India, Jemimah Rodrigues, currently on the sidelines with a hand injury, has been included in both squads despite not playing an ODI since July 2021. Harmanpreet Kaur will captain both sides, with Smriti Mandhana serving as her vice-captain.
Elsewhere, Kiran Prabhu Navgire has received her maiden call-up to India's T20I squad while allrounder Dayalan Hemelatha, whose most recent international outing – her 14th across all formats – came in March 2021, earns a recall. She has been named in both squads.
Simran Dil Bahadir, who featured twice against Sri Lanka in June, and Richa Ghosh also return to the T20I squad but Yastika Bhatia and Harleen Deol – both of whom won silver medals at the Commonwealth Games – miss out.
