Amazing footage has emerged of a one-legged batsman taking part in a net session in Pakistan.

A video shared on social media this week shows the unidentified cricketer, who has lost his right leg, practising in full whites on the sub-continent.

And his first shot is something of a beauty, a cut into the offside which any recreational cricketer would be proud of.

Though the next two deliveries don't quite match the first for style and technique, the man's poise and balance at the crease is remarkable, given he does not have the assistance of a prosthetic limb.
