Which sides will make it through to Finals Day?

What is it?

The last eight teams remaining in the 2018 T20 Blast compete in four quarter-finals to decide the line-up for Finals Day at Edgbaston on 15 September.

The top four sides from the North Group and the top four sides from the South Group qualified for the quarter-finals with the top two in each earning themselves the luxury of home comforts, a home fixture.

Who is playing?

Kent Spitfires v Lancashire Lightning - Canterbury

Durham Jets v Sussex Sharks – Chester-le-Street

Worcestershire Rapids v Gloucestershire – New Road

Somerset v Nottinghamshire Outlaws - Taunton

When are the games?

The four quarter-finals take place on consecutive days on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, starting with Kent v Lancashire and then going in order of the fixture list detailed above.

Kent v Lancashire begins at 7pm BST with Durham v Sussex set to start at 6.30pm BST on Friday and both weekend fixtures, Worcestershire v Gloucestershire and Somerset v Nottingham, scheduled to start at 3pm BST.

How did they get there?

Worcestershire and Durham topped the North Group with near-identical records; 19 points, nine wins and four losses, earning them their home quarter-finals. Lancashire came third with 17 points while Nottinghamshire made it in late with 16 points.

In the South Group, Somerset were the table-toppers scoring 20 points and finishing ahead of second placed Kent on net run rate. Sussex and Gloucestershire, finishing third and fourth respectively, were also split by net run rate with both sides scoring 18 points.

Who are the favourites?

Kent are 4/5 to defeat Lancashire while the visitors are 1/1 to reach Finals Day.

Durham are 11/10 to win while Sussex are 8/11 to defeat Durham.

Worcestershire can be found at 8/13 to defeat Gloucestershire while the visitors are at 5/4 for the victory.

Somerset are 10/11 to defeat Nottinghamshire while Notts can also be found at 10/11 for the win.
