Joe Denly was the star of the night at the PCA Awards on Thursday, with the Kent allrounder collecting four gongs at the end of a remarkable season.
Denly, whose displays in both red and white-ball cricket earned him a call-up to England's Test squad for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka, was named T20 Blast and Royal London One-Day Cup Player of the Year in addition to being selected in the Team of the Year.
He also collected the most sought-after award of the evening, the Reg Hayter Cup, after being voted by his peers as Players' Player of the Year for 2018.
Denly saw off competition from Rory Burns, Matt Henry and Rikki Clarke to claim the prize, following a campaign in which he amassed 1,729 runs and claimed 57 wickets across cricket's three formats.

"Playing against fantastic cricketers throughout the years and being recognised for your contribution to your team, and what you achieved in that year is something very special and to be proud of," he said.
"The last couple of years is about enjoying cricket and having a good understanding of what works for me and what doesn't, and really sticking to that and enjoying that."
Ollie Pope received the John Arlott Cup as Young Player of the Year, while Sophie Ecclestone was named Women's Player of the Summer.
"I'm so proud of myself," she said.
Tom Bailey of Lancashire was picked out as the County Championship Player of the Year, while the two England gongs - for performances in Test and one-day cricket - went to Jimmy Anderson and Jos Buttler respectively.
