WATCH: Shahid Afridi, playing for Karachi Kings against Quetta Gladiators, made an astonishing grab on the long-off boundary to help his side towards victory
Boom! Boom!
Shahid Afridi might be pushing 38 years of age but he's still got the capacity to draw a crowd to its feet.
That is exactly what the allrounder managed on Friday in the Pakistan Super League, but it wasn't through his batting or his bowling.
Afridi, playing for Karachi Kings against Quetta Gladiators, took an astonishing catch on the long-off boundary to help his side towards victory.
One-handed, the veteran Pakistani somehow hung onto the ball as it looked to be passing over him for six before having the presence of mind to throw it up into the air as his momentum carried him over the rope.

A hop, skip and jump later and Afridi caught his own assist, sparking a characteristically excessive celebration. Replays showed that the unlucky batsman, Umar Amin, needed to be on his way.
For Afridi, it was the perfect way of endearing himself to fans of his new franchise, having made the switch from Peshawar Zalmi after PSL 2.
“These days, I try to hide myself on the field but Babar (Azam) told me to field in the deep,” said Afridi about the take.
“It worked well. Fielding is an art, you have to enjoy it. If you don't, you will be found out. You have to be ready all the time.”
Karachi eventually won the game by 19 runs at the Dubai International Stadium.
Colin Ingram made 41 as the Kings reached 149 for nine from their 20 overs before comfortably restricting the Gladiators in the chase.
