Andre Russell and Carlos Brathwaite retained by Jamaica Tallawahs for CPL 2021

Fiery seamer Fidel Edwards also holds on to his place after returning to the CPL in 2020, while left-arm spinner Verasammy Permaul is retained

Jamaica Tallawahs have announced their retentions for the 2021 Caribbean Premier League.

Allrounders Andre Russell and Carlos Brathwaite will return to the franchise this year, as well as batsmen Rovman Powell and Chadwick Walton.

Fiery seamer Fidel Edwards also holds on to his place after returning to the CPL in 2020, while left-arm spinner Verasammy Permaul is retained.

Jamaica have kept ICC Americas player Ryan Persaud as their sixth retention.

The Tallawahs will have 10 spots to fill to complete their squad for this year's event.

The CPL is scheduled to take place in August and September.
