The Cricketer has been named the best place for online domestic cricket coverage yet again.

TheCricketer.com and its associated social media channels have won the Outstanding Online Coverage of Domestic Cricket Award at the ECB Domestic Journalism Awards for the fifth year in a row.

Our platforms saw off competition from a host of outlets to land the prize, which was judged by leaders in cricket journalism and industry peers.

The award extends The Cricketer's winning streak, which began in 2019 and recognises the breadth and depth of coverage across the men's county game, the women's regional structure, The Hundred, and club cricket.

Digital editor Sam Morshead said: "One of our main aims at The Cricketer is to provide year-round, quality coverage of English cricket - from bottom to top - and it is always a thrill to see the team's effort and imagination rewarded in this way.

"I'm particularly proud of the variety of output generated by a small desk, the stories we have broken and themes we have addressed over the past 12 months.
