Robinson hasn't played international cricket since England's fifth Test defeat in the Ashes at Hobart
England seamer Ollie Robinson will make his long-awaited return to action on Tuesday after two months on the sidelines.
The 28-year-old has taken 39 Test wickets in nine appearances but hasn't featured since playing for Sussex against New Zealand in May.
He was then due to face the tourists for a County Select XI but withdrew on the morning of the match after reporting stiffness in his back. It was then later revealed by the ECB that he had also tested positive for Covid, which forced him into isolation.
Robinson hasn't played international cricket since England's fifth Test defeat in the Ashes at Hobart, where he was publicly criticised by bowling coach Jon Lewis for his fitness levels.

He was then part of England's squad for the series in the Caribbean but didn't play after his back spasms – which had plagued him at Hobart – flared up again, while he has been limited to just two County Championship appearances – against Middlesex and Leicestershire – by injuries and illness, including a tooth infection and food poisoning.
His return comes at Trent Bridge against Nottinghamshire, with Sussex's bowling attack missing seamers Jofra Archer, Henry Crocombe, Jamie Atkins and George Garton through injury; Steven Finn is rested.
Robinson is joined by Brad Currie and Ari Karvelas, both of whom impressed on debut at Lord's against Middlesex last week after joining on monthlong trial contracts.
