Durham have handed new two-year deals to youngsters Michael Jones and Liam Trevaskis.

Twenty-three-year-old batter Jones signs his first professional deal since joining the club's academy in 2017.

Left-arm spinner Trevaskis, meanwhile, has established himself as a key member of the white-ball side.

Trevaskis has claimed 55 wickets across all formats for Durham including seven in this season's T20 Blast.

"I’m excited to have signed a new contract with Durham and I am looking forward to what the next few years holds with this group of players," said Trevaskis.

Jones added: "I am buzzing to sign this deal with Durham, it’s been a long time coming. I have been in the north east a while and have settled down here and have got to know all the lads really well.

"I feel like I have settled into the team in red ball, it was an absolute no brainer to sign and I am really happy to be here for the next few years."
