Max Holden has pledged his future to Middlesex after signing a long-term contract extension with the county.

Holden, who came through the Middlesex pathway to make his debut aged 19 in 2017, will remain with the club until at least the end of the 2025 season after penning a three-year deal.

The batsman is highly thought of at Middlesex - his reputation having been done no harm by the 1,144 runs he has accumulated across formats so far in 2022 - and the management team will be delighted to have secured the 24-year-old for a prolonged stay.

Holden was delighted to commit to an extension.

"From the moment I walked through the doors of the Finchley Indoor School as an eleven-year-old, it's been my dream to represent this great club. It is something I am incredibly proud to do and will never take for granted.
