Kent allrounder Marcus O'Riordan has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
The 24-year-old, who has made 22 appearances for the county in all competitions, has suffered a shoulder injury. He is set to undergo surgery before returning to action in 2023.
O'Riordan last played for Kent against a Sri Lanka Development XI in May, where he made his maiden first-class hundred, but played seven times in the County Championship in 2021.
He made 169 against Durham last month in the Second XI Championship and scored 248 runs in six appearances in the second-team T20 competition earlier this summer.

A club statement added: "We wish Marcus a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back in a Kent shirt next season."
O'Riordan first broke into Kent's side as an off-spinning allrounder, but he has taken just 11 wickets in 14 first-class appearances, with Kent operating without a specialist spinner at times this summer.
