Middlesex offspinner Ollie Rayner has moved to Kent for the rest of the County Championship season.
Rayner will jump up a division, and is due to meet his new teammates next week ahead of their next game - against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge - on June 17.
"As my opportunities are slightly scattered at Middlesex I’m very grateful that the club have agreed to let me go on loan to Kent where I will hopefully play some regular Championship cricket initially," Rayner said.

"Kent is a great club and it’s a privilege that they have asked for my services and I’m flattered that they had me in mind to help bolster their spin department."
Middlesex managing director of cricket Angus Fraser said: "Ollie has been an important and valued member of our squad for many seasons, but the coaches feel it is time to give Nathan Sowter an extended run in the first XI.
"Kent have enquired about Ollie’s availability, and it seems fair on all sides that he should have the opportunity to play regular Championship cricket for the rest of the summer."
Middlesex retain a recall clause within the deal.
