The academy product has penned a two-year deal and has stated his intention to ensure the club add to the One-Day Cup captured in 2015 - their last major piece of silverware
Jack Taylor has signed on for another two years with Gloucestershire.
The new takes the middle-order batter and legspinner up to the end of the 2026 season.
Taylor - the older brother of let-arm seamer Matt - has made all of his 294 senior appearances for Gloucestershire since progressing through the club's academy.
Across formats, he has scored 7,539 runs and taken 143 wickets
The highlight came as part of the One-Day Cup-winning side of 2015 - an achievement Taylor is eager to build on.

"I am thrilled to stay with the club for the next three seasons," said Taylor, who struck Gloucestershire's fastest century in List A cricket in 2023, coming in 52 balls. "While our victory in the 2015 Royal London One Day Cup was an unforgettable moment for me, it has been far too long since then.
"My deep-rooted connection to this club fuels my ambition for success and I'm committed to help bring silverware back home.
"I am confident in our team's composition, balancing youth with experience, and it's time for us to work hard to deliver consistent results on the pitch in the coming years."
Chief executive Will Brown added: "Jack has been and still is a fantastic asset to the club and will bring with him a wealth of experience as we head into the 2024 season.
"I'm looking forward to seeing Jack display his explosive, match-winning performances he is so recognisable for in the years to come."
