"We look forward to watching them grow over the coming years and we feel they have the attributes to help take the team to the next level."

Turner, who is currently in the Caribbean with England's white-ball squads, enjoyed a fine breakthrough during the 2023 summer, going from making his T20 debut to a first international call-up in the space of less than three months.

"After an amazing couple years at The Ageas Bowl, it was an easy decision to extend my time at the club," the 22-year-old said. "Since making the step up to the first XI, I've really enjoyed my time on and off the pitch.

"Hampshire have played a massive role in the development of my cricket and I couldn't thank everyone at the club enough. I am extremely excited for the next few years and hopefully, I can help contribute to more success on the pitch."
