Hampshire have handed a one-year contract extension to promising allrounder Felix Organ.
Sydney-born Organ, a product of the county’s academy, broke into the first team in 2019 and has since established himself as a useful option with both bat and ball.
The 22-year-old’s previous deal with Hampshire expired after the 2021 season but he will now stay at the club until at least the end of next summer.

Felix Organ has signed a new contract at Hampshire
A breakthrough 2019, in which he struck 300 County Championship runs including a maiden hundred in only his third outing, gave way to a modest 2020 that brought just 60 runs from seven first-class innings.
However, he showed glimpses of his ability last season, making 213 runs with a top score of 67.
Organ has additional value as an off-spinner, with an encouraging career average of 18.26 and 23 wickets in red-ball cricket.
"I love Hampshire. I started playing here when I was eight or nine and I like the idea of only playing at one club," he said,
"It’s a nice feeling to have extended my contract, we got so close last year to getting some trophies, hopefully next year we’ll go one step further."

While Hampshire are blessed with several excellent spin options - Mason Crane and Liam Dawson the most notable among them - Organ’s versatility is a useful extra option.
He follows Lewis McManus and Brad Wheal in signing a contract extension at the club this winter.
Hampshire have also handed out first-time deals to Scott Currie, Tom Prest, Toby Albert, John Turner and Harry Petrie in recent weeks.
Director of cricket Giles White said: "It’s great that Felix has committed his future to the club. He’s been with Hampshire since he was young, coming through the age-group system and we’ve always been impressed with his attitude while possessing clear talent with both bat and ball.
"He’s had a brilliant start to the winter break and is clearly working hard on improving his game as he looks to secure a regular first team spot across all formats."
