The talent pathway graduate has agreed to a new contract until at least the end of 2024
Emilio Gay is the latest player to pledge their immediate future to Northamptonshire.
The 22-year-old will now remain at Wantage Road until at least the end of the 2024 season after signing a two-year contract extension.
Gay's deal was due to expire at the end of the campaign but the announcement ensures he will remain among a burgeoning Northants squad.
David Willey confirmed his return to Northamptonshire last month having spent seven years with Yorkshire.
Furthermore, Ricardo Vasconcelos, Jack White and Alex Russell have all penned fresh deals in recent weeks.
A product of the club's talent pathway, Gay has struck 319 runs in the LV= Insurance County Championship during 2022.
Northants remain winless in Division One but sit outside the relegation places after seven games of the campaign.
"I'm very pleased to have signed my new contract," Gay said.

"This club means a lot to me, I've been here since I was 15 and it's a club that has given me a lot – a foundation, a chance and an opportunity in a professional environment."
He added: "I think as someone who has come through the ranks here, through the academy, it means that maybe more so than others I want to deliver on what Northamptonshire saw in me.
"Now is the time for me to repay the club by scoring big runs and winning games of cricket for Northamptonshire over the next couple of years."
Head coach John Sadler said: "I’m really pleased that Emilio has agreed to sign for another two years.
"He’s a very exciting prospect, a good young player whose ceiling we believe is very high," Sadler said.
"He’s a product of our academy and it's great to see homegrown players coming through our system and into first-team cricket here."
