Sussex have secured Delray Rawlins to a new contract.

The 25-year-old has played 104 times for the club since his senior debut in 2017.

Across the formats, Rawlins has taken 66 wickets and scored 2,653 runs.

Rawlins was a major part of the Sharks side that reached the Royal London Cup semi-finals, a run that included a List A best score of 91 and figures of 3 for 22.

"Obviously I have been here my entire professional career and I am looking forward to building on the good things we did this summer," he said.

"This year I worked on certain aspects of my game, and I am pleased with the progress made so hopefully I can go again next year and produce bigger numbers for the team."

He added: "I'm enjoying my role within the squad, even though I am only 25 the additional responsibility has helped my game, so long may it continue."
