What's the lowdown?
Nottinghamshire go into this game still looking for a first-class win. Their barren run is now at 28 matches, following the opening-round draw with Durham.
Warwickshire, meanwhile, are searching for their first victory under new head coach Mark Robinson after a snow-affected draw with Derbyshire last week.
Both teams have the same record over their past five matches, with four draws and a loss apiece.
Who's in form?
There were half-centuries for a host of Nottinghamshire batsmen last week - Steven Mullaney, Tom Moores, Ben Slater, Lyndon James and Brett Hutton all passing the mark without going on to three figures.
For Warwickshire, Liam Norwell speared through Derbyshire's top order to claim the Championship season's first five-for, and went at a misely 1.78 with the ball in the first innings.

Who's said what?
Nottinghamshire opener, Ben Slater, believes his side are in a good place to face Warwickshire after a mostly positive start to the season, stating: "As a side, if we look at the four days against Durham, we played well in parts of the game but we let it slip on the evening of the third day. I think we can take positives. It’s about putting it all together to win a game.
"We played Warwickshire few weeks ago, so we got an early look at them, and we know what they are about."
Addressing home advantage, he continued: "You want your home ground to be an advantage to you. The fight that we showed on Sunday made a statement that we aren’t just going to roll over if we are behind the eight-ball. That can only help us moving forwards."
Warwickshire first team coach Mark Robinson admitted he was looking forward to watching overseas recruit Hanuma Vihari in County Championship action.
"He is an attractive batsman to watch and a quality player and you always look to that sort of player to have an effect, on and off the field, so it’s really good to have him on board," he said.
