Colin Ingram recaptured his best form with a stabilising century to send Glamorgan to a cautious innings.

Ingram's 103 (52 of which added on day two) was played patiently on Glamorgan's way to 320 all out after batting until bad light ruled out the final 15 full overs of the extended day's play.

Chris Cooke accompanied his compatriot to a half-century partnership to go with the century earlier added from Kellaway and Ingram despite coming together at 28 for 4 on the opening day.

Mason Crane's half-century, together with Timm van der Gugten's 40, supported the hosts with resilience as the day burned slowly.

Taunton (day two of four): Somerset 347, Nottinghamshire 218-3 - Nottinghamshire are 129 runs behind with seven first-innings wickets remaining

Unbeaten half-centuries from Joe Clarke and Jack Haynes put Nottinghamshire in a promising position on the second day of the County Championship match with Somerset at Taunton.

The fourth-wicket pair had shared a stand of 90 by the time bad light ended play 13 overs early to put their side on 218 for three in reply to the home side’s first innings total of 347, a deficit of 129. Clarke had contributed 70 and Haynes 53.

The other Notts hero was Dillon Pennington, who claimed all four remaining Somerset first innings wickets after they had begun another cold, blustery day on 292 for six. The seamer returned figures of five for 65 from 26.5 overs, while Craig Overton finished 60 not out.
