Hove (fourth day of four): Sussex 299-8 v Worcestershire - Match drawn

Scorecard

There was no talk of early lunches and afternoon inspections here today, and what should have been the fourth and final day’s play in the Specsavers County Championship Division Two match between Sussex and Worcestershire.

More heavy overnight and early morning rain put paid to any chance of play on Thursday, so not a ball was bowled on either of the final two days. At least Sussex were able to make an early start to their end of season awards in the pavilion.
