Connor Brown, Jack Murphy and Tom Cullen have all signed one-year deals with the Welsh county
Glamorgan have handed new contracts to three young players ahead of the new County Championship season.
Connor Brown, Jack Murphy and Tom Cullen have all signed one-year deals with the Welsh county.
Murphy and Brown came through the Glamorgan Academy, while Cullen played for Cardiff MCCU while studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
All three players made their Championship debuts in 2017 following strong performances for Glamorgan’s second XI.
“All three players have shown progress over the past 12 months,” said Glamorgan chief executive and director of cricket Hugh Morris.
“They all performed well under Steve Watkin in the second XI and deserved their opportunity to play in the first team when it came.
“Tom did a good job covering for Chris Cooke behind the stumps when called upon, while Connor and Jack played important innings in our win against Kent in the final match of last season.
“With these young players coming through into the first team, as well as the likes of Aneurin Donald, Lukas Carey and Kiran Carlson - who has also recently signed a new contract with Glamorgan – we have an exciting group of young players at the club, which bodes well for the future.”
