Bess has taken 12 wickets at 51.33 in five County Championship outings for Yorkshire this season
Yorkshire spinner Dom Bess has joined Warwickshire on a two-week loan as cover for the injured Danny Briggs.
The former England international has struggled for form this season, taking 12 wickets at an average of 51.33 in five County Championship outings.
Bess initially joined Yorkshire on loan in 2019 before making the move permanent ahead of the 2021 campaign. He has taken 83 wickets in 36 first-class matches for the club.
His future at Yorkshire was thrown up in the air earlier this week when fellow spinner Dan Moriarty moved to Headingley on a four-match loan from Surrey.

He now has a chance to impress for a team challenging at the top of Division One after Briggs suffered a hamstring injury in the T20 Blast on Friday (June 23).
Bess went straight into Warwickshire's XI to face Essex at Chelmsford, starting June 25.
Warwickshire head coach, Mark Robinson, said: "We needed an experienced finger spinner as we've looked at the wicket and it's very dry, so you would need one spinner, or maybe even two.
"Dom missing out for Yorkshire gives him an opportunity and sometimes those players have a point to prove or enjoy a new lease of life."
Warwickshire currently sit second in Division One, 32 points behind leaders Surrey.
