DIVISION ONE

Hampshire v Kent

Where: The Ageas Bowl

When: Saturday, July 13 - Tuesday, July 16

Lowdown: Kent can overtake their hosts and snatch fourth place from Hampshire here with victory.

One to watch: Bludgeoned his way 173 against Warwickshire, 22-year-old Welshman Aneurin Donald has another opportunity to demonstrate his undoubted batting marvel.

Weather: Interchanging conditions between cloud and sunny spells throughout the match so a full four days should be possible if needed.

Essex v Warwickshire

Where: Chelmsford

When: Saturday, July 13 - Tuesday, July 16

Lowdown: Essex will be looking to keep the pressure on table-topping Somerset when facing a dogged Warwickshire side.

One to watch: A century in both innings against Hampshire, Sam Hain demonstrated why he really is one of the stars of the future.

Weather: Cloud to play a predominant part on all four days but there will be some clearer, brighter spells amongst the overcast conditions.

Yorkshire v Somerset

Where: Headingley

When: Saturday, July 13 - Tuesday, July 16

Lowdown: Third plays first with Somerset looking to continue the charge towards a title as Yorkshire return to Headingley after their horrendous loss to Essex.

One to watch: Dom Bess was once again in fine form with bat and ball and was instrumental in reversing Nottinghamshire's fightback. 

Weather: Overcast for much of play with some sunny spells expected late on on the first day.

Nottinghamshire v Surrey

Where: Trent Bridge

When: Saturday, July 13 - Tuesday, July 16

Lowdown: A real bottom-of-the-table clash with both sides coming into the game of the back of defeats despite spirited performances in patches.

One to watch: Notts are squeezing every last bit out of Ravi Ashwin with bat and ball and that is likely to continue here for the India spinner.

Weather: Again overcast conditions for large portions of the match with some sunny spells expected on days two and three.

DIVISION TWO

Durham v Worcestershire

Where: Chester-le-Street

When: Saturday, July 13 - Tuesday, July 16

Lowdown: The visitors must demonstrate similar doggedness as they did against Glamorgan and Derbyshire if they are to stand a chance against a rejuvenated Durham side. 

One to watch: Ben Raine's match figures of nine for 96 were the best of his career and he is surely the danger man that Worcestershire must look out for.

Weather: Cloudy starts to all four days but conditions will change to sunny intervals by the late afternoon.

Glamorgan v Middlesex

Where: Cardiff Wales Stadium

When: Saturday, July 13 - Tuesday, July 16

Lowdown: Eventful stories at both ends of the table, with Middlesex lifting themselves off the foot of the table with victory over Gloucestershire while Glamorgan will be looking to tighten the squeeze on Lancashire at the summit.

One to watch: Economical in the first innings and devastating in the second, Tim Murtagh could cause plenty of problems to Glamorgan's premier batsmen.

Weather: Mild and cloudy for the opening two days but brighter weather should take over for the game's conclusion.

Lancashire v Sussex

Where: Old Trafford

Lowdown: Injury-hit Lancashire will need an improvement on their performance against Northants to remain top of the table, but the visitors also fell to the same side in their last game.

One to watch: How badly will the injuries to Saqib Mahmood, James Anderson and Liam Livingstone affect Lancashire? Graham Onions will be key in Lancashire's desire for cool heads.

Weather: Some rain possible on day one but otherwise cloudy and sunny spells expected throughout the match.

Prediction: Sussex to pull of the almightiest of shocks

Derbyshire v Northamptonshire

Where: Queen's Park, Chesterfield

When: Sunday, July 14 - Wednesday, July 17

Lowdown: An all-Midlands affair but a victory for the visitors would make the race to finish in the top four even tighter.

One to watch: A first County Championship century of the season for Temba Bavuma, there may be more to come yet from the South African.

Gloucestershire v Leicestershire

Where: College Ground, Cheltenham
